That’s what Freddy’s is known for and that’s what we will bring to our neighbors in the area and the entire St. Louis metro,” remarked franchise operator Eric Cole. “The Freddy’s concept has been expanding in Missouri over the last several years. We opened in Jefferson City, Columbia and Sedalia during 2012; receiving an enthusiastic welcome from guests in each area. We’ve been planning and pursuing a growth strategy in St. Louis for a couple of years and look forward to opening our 2nd St. Louis Freddy’s later this year. ” Founded in 2002 and first franchised in 2004, Freddy’s opened its first Missouri restaurant in Joplin during 2008. Freddy’s founders operate six locations in the Wichita Metro area, three in the Kansas City market, and one in the Dallas market. Eighty-four franchise units serve other areas of Kansas, Missouri and Texas as well as Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Utah and Virginia. In the local community of the company’s founding, Freddy’s has repeatedly won first place Readers’ Choice Awards in multiple categories, including Best Burger, Best Fries and Best Hot Dog, from the Wichita Eagle newspaper and was a recipient of the 2011 Best in Business Award from the Wichita Business Journal.
